Christ The King Class of 1959 45 Year Class Reunion Information Center

Well the reunion may be over, but the memories will last a lifetime!

The Christ The King Class of '59 Forty-Five Year Reunion was a huge success with a terrific turnout!  It was a wonderful night where many great memories of the past were shared.

The Planning Committee worked very hard for over a year planning this event and they really outdid themselves!  The reunion was held at the William Tell Holiday Inn (Countryside, Illinois) on Saturday, September 18, 2004.  Several of the alumni traveled in from other states to relive their grammar school days and meet up with friends from long ago.

That night everyone there was back in the 8th grade, laughing and joking like it was just yesterday that they graduated and were getting prepared to start high school.  It was almost like being back at a school dance.  The girls out on the dance floor hoping their guy will come dance with them - the guys off in the corner talking about sports, cars and probably how great their girl looked that night.  Yes, there were flashbacks of realty when pictures of grandchildren were shared and talks about retirement - yes retirement and even turning the big 60!  But that night everyone was back in their youth.

The night wouldn't be complete without live entertainment, great food and of course - "Rainbow" ice cream cones.  Awards were handed out for being the "longest married couple", "most grandchildren" and "traveled the furthest".  Many of the alumni took advantage of the hotel's accommodations and spent the night as not to miss a single moment of making up for lost time with each other.

All in all this reunion was a great success and will be remembered until at least the Fifty-Year Reunion...  which, by the way, is already being planned!

Please make sure to keep the planning committee updated if you should move or change your email address.  Five years isn't really all that far away!
